Ray Price Capital City Bike Fest

The 7th Annual Ray Price Capital City Bike Fest presented by Nationwide insurance is a major downtown festival centered on the motorcycle rider life style. The event provides a unique experience in the downtown business district for citizens to view a variety of motorcycles up close and become part of “Biker” popular culture. Bike fest is supported in part by the City of Raleigh Convention Center. In 2010, the event welcomed over 85,000 motorcycle enthusiasts and families from Raleigh and the south east. Event goers are treated to national music artists, food & beverages, vendors and manufacturers, lifestyle exhibits, ride in bike shows, custom bike builders and much more.

Raleigh Amphitheater and Festival Site
The Isaac Hunter Foundation will host the first Isaac Hunter's Battle of the Bands on Saturday, September 24, from 4pm to 11pm at Moore Square in Downtown Raleigh. This event will feature some local bands from across the Triangle and food from local restaurants and food trucks. We are asking for a $5 donation from anyone who decides to purchases beverages. Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club.

In the psychological thriller Black Swan, Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman plays a ballerina struggling to play Odette, the innocent white swan, and Odile, the sensual black swan, in a production of Swan Lake. Carolina Ballet tops the film with the company premieres of the “White Swan” and “Black Swan” pas de deux both in their entirety using choreography from the 1895 version of the ballet and featuring a rotating cast of dancers. The program also includes Robert Weiss's Time Gallery and George Balanchine's Prodigal Son.
